This Single Barrel Cask Strength release is one of a kind. Aged for over 5 years, beginning 2 years in new oak, and finishing for a little over 3 years in a renowned used Bordeaux barrel from village of Pauillac in the Médoc region of Bordeaux, France.
Nose: Unknown
Palate: Deep dark fruit, a touch of caramelized corn, a hint of cinnamon apple spice.
Finish: Incredibly layered whisky develops slowly over time.
The Bourbon Introspective
Description: The palate comes off with a hint of youth straight into sweet spice and a warm hug. As you continue to drink, it starts to generate a dry feeling on the tongue with a medium finish.
Nose: Port Wine, Caramel, Orange Peel, Leather
Palate: Caramel, Raw Sweet Corn, Cinnamon, Tannic Coffee Grounds
Finish: Oak Spice and Faint Coffee Grounds
